Why are you running for this political office?
I am running for office because I see a unique opportunity to help shape our region’s water future. My background in science will be a new and informed lens to the board and both enhance and broaden its decision-making by bringing a wider range of perspectives and expertise to MWDOC.
I am passionate and committed to the proportional and equitable distribution of water to our diverse economic and cultural communities, always considering the environmental benefits and risks. Furthermore, I take a broad view of cost-effective options to increase water supply and manage demand and am visionary in my thinking.
